A project offering a new way of dealing with children excluded from schools has been launched in Nottingham.
Educational Wellbeing offers one to one mentoring to troubled pupils.

Between 2008 and 2009 there were more than 5,500 exclusions in Nottinghamshire. The same scheme had a 100% success rate in London re-integrating pupils back into schools.
