A Lesson in Life

Imagine if the National Curriculum for secondary education had a mandatory lesson called ‘Life’. ..

Imagine a lesson that would equip children with the necessary insight to achieve their full potential without having to fall in life’s potholes. A lesson that taught the value of hard work, pride and achievement over a life spent looking over their shoulder for rival gangs and police.

Summer Scheme – Week 2 Photography

Day 10 – Photography was on the agenda on week 2 and the kids proved to be David Baileys in the making. As well as learning basic techniques of taking good photos and experimenting with the camera, they got to create and take part in a cat walk show, strutting their stuff and having the opportunity to be snapped up! And of course creating their own personal frames for their perfect shots.

Summer Scheme 2009 – Update

Day 3 – The kids were raring to go and were keen to learn more. They all came across more confident and stronger. Personalities were coming out, some thriving and vibrant than others, but just wait till they really get comfortable and all the personalities start blossoming!

Chocolate rice crispy cakes were on the menu and kids with parents got “stuck in” making as many cakes as possible. There were no traces of chocolate to be seen! Claire then showed everyone how to perform relaxing messaging techniques which everyone joined in and left feeling refreshed.
