With the sad loss of Michael Jackson last week and the world in total shock, I asked a few of my friends how they remember him and what impact he had on their lives.
“I watched him singing Billie Jean and how the steps lit up as he danced from one to the next. I sat there in awe!”

It’s not uncommon these days to be single in your late 20s-30s and can it be seen as a positive thing – conveying women’s independence, focusing on a challenging career and being the boss. If 55 years ago, your husband agreed to stay home and look after the kids, while you go out and earn the only income for the family, and essentially become the breadwinner – you’d probably turn your head in disgust, or assume it was a very tasteless joke.
But today it is becoming increasingly popular for the man of the family to run the household as the woman goes out to work
