Memories of Michael

With the sad loss of Michael Jackson last week and the world in total shock, I asked a few of my friends how they remember him and what impact he had on their lives.

“I watched him singing Billie Jean and how the steps lit up as he danced from one to the next. I sat there in awe!”

Everyday, celebrities, politicians and anyone who’s anybody can log on to answer the question, “What are you doing?”
It has become a powerful social web tool.

DEBATE: Concerns about children’s well-being, in relation to becoming a topic of increasing concern in political and policy-making circles. Evidence is mounting that privileges like the right to education, general health and longevity have not brought contentment to children, even when they become adults compared to apparently less privileged children.
